"David and Goliath"
"The Battle Belongs to the Lord"

This classic Biblical scene is captured in bronze
showing  the well known battle between David, a
young man anointed by God and the Philistine
giant, Goliath. Recorded  in the Bible in 1 Samuel
17: 17-53,  every aspect of  this miraculous
encounter is described  in minute detail.  Not only
do we know exactly how the event took place, but
why David fought, what both he and Goliath wore
and what happened in the fight.

This sculpture goes farther than just the physical
and shows how this wonderful victory applies to the
believer’s life in conflicts we face everyday.
Inscribed on the armor of Goliath are strongholds of
life which can be conquered with God’s help. The
sculpture gives us the assurance that if God could
bring a young boy this incredible victory over the
giant in his life, He can also bring us victories over
the giants in our lives.

The patina coloration of this dynamic sculpture is
acutely realistic and brings a vivid sense of reality to
this Biblical masterpiece.
